Southeast Vegetation Management has a fleet of high-rail vegetation control trucks. Each truck is equipped with state of the art spray systems with GIS and GPS mapping technology. Our large capacity tanks allow our trucks to go further for less overall track time. The trucks have front, side and rear spray heads that allow for on and off track applications, meaning our trucks can spray all areas of the rail for one seamless application. Our boomless spraying enables the application equipment to stay on the tracks or right of way and spray areas off the side of the equipment. This results in a more uniform rate of application as well as faster speed. Obstructions can interrupt the spray pattern but not interfere with boomless spray applications as much as with a boom application. This equipment has allowed our company to spray rights of way such as mainline, yard, bridges, off-track, brush, crossings and branch lines.
