The current areas that Southeast Vegetation Management serves are the Southeast, Northeast, Midwest and Ohio Valley regions. We do not measure track time performance. Instead, we coordinate with the roadmasters to schedule around the railroad’s needs and weather conditions. We rely on each railroad to procure track warrants so they are in communication with any rolling stock.

Initially, Southeast Vegetation Management will contact the roadmasters to start scheduling pre-emergent’s for tracks further south where vegetation grows earlier and more frequent in the warmer climate. We work with the railroad crew to make sure that all parts of the railroad are sprayed. After the first application is completed we review the kill and schedule the second application as needed.
